Mindfulness at CJR
Over the past several weeks our 3rd and 4th grade students have been practicing new skills to give them a "leg up" in the classroom. The Baltimore Sun recently published an article detailing some of the benefits of Mindful Meditation. In our video, Cindy Maxted walks us through how she brought Mindfulness to CJR and students speak out about its impact on their lives inside and outside the classroom. CJR's Tower of Power
Watch as Commodore students prepare to take on the rest of the city in Johns Hopkins University "Tower of Power" challenge. Students are given supplies and 30 minutes to create the tallest free-standing structure. The real competition happens Monday, February 22nd.
